One Month to Go...

Hard to believe, but there's only about one month before GoP dons their Hawaiians in search for booze, boobs, and victory. I can already hear Yui stumbling over words like "protrustion" or "pummel", and see Chris Ward angrily spiking the disc on some hapless rookie's dome. Though Splenda will be gone, Abe's mighty "yeah, Splenda" and subsequent ejaculation will resound over the wind swept plains of Duerr Fields. Yes, GoPfall is in the air.

Being said, as we prepare for the Fall season, it becomes important for returners to provide Captains with feedback and suggestions on how to improve the GoPexperience. If you feel so inclined (and really, what else are you doing?) send an email to myself, Thayne or Sean about ways to improve practice, tournaments, etc. If you want to include a few GoProspects that should be included on the email list, through those names in there as well.

I imagine we'll have some sort of returners-only meeting towards the beginning of the season, so look forward to that as well.

Sean here. I put up our roster, and it is ghetto fabulous. Granted, it is last year's roster, but...I was not sure which roster to put up, as we do not currently have a team selected. Anyways, I will slowly pick away at it, adding sweet new features such as background colors and animated gifs. It will roster the shit out of you.

GoPstars at MUDI

A number of GoPstars and GoPalums will be honing their skills at the Minnesota Ultimate Disc Invitational this weekend. The tournament will be held in Maple Plains at the Polo fields that sectionals were played at. So Many Ducks, a co-ed team out of Northfield will probably have the largest contingency of GoPpers, boasting the skills of myself, Sweets, Weebz, Cyrus, Thayne and Yui. Notable alums include former captain "Butt" Hans Peterson '05 on Liquid Assets, Brian Swann '05 on Hot Dish (Twin Cities) and Dave Ohls '04 and Eric Feise '04 on Optimus Lime (Chicago, IL). It's likely that there will be unfortuate Stoner, Lindgren, Z, Toce and Sierzchula sightings as well.

Good luck to all GoPstars competing this weekend. The tournament website claims there'll be free massages on the field. I'm going for that.
